Un lecteur d'eBook est toujours l'une des premières applications que
j'installe lorsque je change de PDA / smartphone. L'iPhone n'a pas dérogé à la
règle et je me régale avec le logiciel bien nommé 'Books',
excellent lecteur d'eBooks dont on avait parlé en détail ici.
Mais un autre logiciel du même type est disponible, permettant la
lecture de fichiers textes et de fichier Palm doc, il se nomme:
TextReader.
Il pourra intéresser ceux qui possèdent de nombreux eBooks au format Palm
Doc, popularisé par le célèbre inventeur du Palm Pilot, et des fichiers textes
de grande taille moins bien supportés par Books. Il est néanmoins, de l'aveu
même de son auteur, moins sophistiqué que Books.

Ne gère pas les accents, ne supporte pas encore les fichiers plucker (on les voit mais lorsque l'on les selectionne un message nous indique "pas d'autorisation" la modif des dit autorisations (0755, 0777) n'y font rien.
Les fichiers HTM ne sont pas gérés
